Panoramic ride around the City walls is indeed a breathtaking experience. A play of shadows while the sun sets on the centuries-old walls gives them a special charm, almost as if they whisper the story of their ancient history.
After floating peacefully beneath Fort Lawrence, your skipper will take you to the highlight of your tour. Prepare your cameras, because you are in for one of the best photo opportunities of your holiday! Soak in the majestic atmosphere and take fantastic photos of the sun setting into the sea and behind the most popular sea reefs in the Dubrovnik area.
Start time & duration: 6:30 pm – 8 pm
After a short stop in Betina cave, our skipper will take you to Lokrum Island, a nature and a special forest vegetation reserve boasting a botanical garden, Benedictine monastery, Royal Fort and many other significant sights.
Enjoy the vibrant colors of the sea as you sail past the sea reefs with a lighthouse, heading towards the Elaphiti Islands. Admire the gorgeous scenery of Koločep Island where we will stop and visit the Blue cave in which a bright blue hue of water and rays of sun reflect on the ceiling creating a magical atmosphere.
Your next stop is Lopud Island with beautiful sandy beach Šunj where the green and blue-hued clean sea and warm sand shine under the hot Mediterranean sun. It is a perfect place to have a bath, snorkel, have a cold drink in a local coffee bar or just to walk around.
If all the exploring and bathing wears you out, feel free to doze off on the boat or on the beach.
Later you can visit the village of Lopud on the other side of the island, where we can make lunch arrangements in one of the superb local fish restaurants. Also, you can visit the 15th century Franciscan monastery, the Rector’s Palace or just have a relaxing drink by the sea gazing at the azure waves.
Before heading back, you will visit Suđurađ on Šipan Island. It is a small charming fishing village bounteous with historic buildings, such as the renaissance castle of the Stjepović-Skočibuha family, the 16th century Pakljena tower and the church of St. Spirit with a flat roof, the largest of this shape on the Adriatic coast. On your way back, you can once again admire the city walls, especially the fort Lawrence, constructed atop a 37m-high cliff.
